The Hiretech HT5 is a lightweight, highly versatile disc sander purpose-built for the jobs that standard edgers can’t reach. Whether you’re working stairs, sanding kickboards, edging close to skirting, or getting around decking balustrades, the HT5 delivers aggressive sanding performance in a compact, easy-to-handle package.

Built from glass-reinforced nylon, the HT5 is tough without being heavy. The rotating handle, balancing wheel, and bottom slip plate combine to give you precise control on stair risers and treads — surfaces that demand accuracy and make most sanders awkward. For floor edging, the low-profile nose gets in close to the wall while the integrated work light keeps your sanding line visible, reducing operator fatigue on long runs.

Clip-on/clip-off castor wheels give you the best of both worlds: leave them on for stability across floor edges, remove them for stair work. The 5″ Velcro sanding discs fit without tools — no spanners, no fuss. Connect a vacuum hose and you’ve got dust-free operation.
