The Hiretech HT17 is a heavy-duty rotary floor polisher designed for contractors and hire operators who need one machine to cover a wide range of floor care tasks. Cleaning, scrubbing, stripping, wood sanding, concrete grinding and polishing, carpet cleaning, glue removal, and general floor prep — the HT17 handles all of it, driven by a 1.5hp high-torque motor through a triple planetary gearbox that delivers consistent power under load.

At up to 557 m² per hour, the HT17 is a genuinely productive machine. The 430mm (17″) pad driver accepts a full range of attachments — including the HydraSand head for timber floor sanding, the HydraShine head for concrete polishing, and the Mastic Removal Tool for surface prep — making this a single asset that earns its keep across multiple trade applications.

The all-metal construction is built for the rigours of daily hire use. A dual lever on/off safety switch allows left or right hand operation, and the toggle flip adjustable handle with anti-fatigue soft-touch grip reduces operator fatigue on long runs. Non-marking, self-lubricating transport wheels make moving the machine between rooms and down corridors straightforward. An optional 9.5L solution tank is available for wet scrubbing and cleaning applications.
