Sometimes the correct power is not available at the job site. We offer a range of Australian made mobile generators which will allow you to get the job done no matter where it is.
When determining the size of the generator you require, add the KW requirements of each of the machines you intend to run. For example, if you were to run a 2.2KW floor grinder and a 2.4KW vacuum you would require 4.6KW of power to run the machines without tripping the RCD or reducing the performance of your machine. It is always a good idea to buy a bigger generator than your minimum requirements.
Machines under heavy load can draw more power than is specified by the data plate on the motor. Having extra power available will reduce the likely hood of the RCD tripping and keep you working without interruption.
Machines will also draw more power when they are first turned on. This is to overcome the inertia of the motor. It is recommended that you turn one machine on at a time.
