Dura Shield L is a high performance, water based surface hardener based on cross linked Lithium silicates. The benefit to Lithium based silicates are they penetrate deeper into the concrete matrix, providing greater long term protection. These silicates react with the calcium hydroxide within the concrete matrix to harden the concrete surface and increase its abrasive resistance.
