Ceramic Polishing Pucks

Ceramic pucks or transition pucks are softer than metal bond diamonds but harder than resin pucks. They are often used to transition between metal bond diamonds and resin pads. Ceramic pucks have increased life when compared to resin pads and leave less scratches than the metal bond diamonds.

Ceramic pucks can be used either in ether wet or dry grinding. For the best overall performance in floor polishing a combination of metal bond diamonds, ceramic and resin pucks should be used. What combination will depend on the desired finish required.
