Redi Lock Grinding Shoe Triple Segment Exposed Aggregate 30 Grit Extra Hard

$71.50

The Triple Segment Star Shape Grinding Shoe in Extra Hard Bond is purpose-built for Australian exposed aggregate concrete. Our aggregates are some of the most abrasive in the world, and this shoe is engineered to handle them with maximum durability and control.

The triple star design delivers multiple cutting edges for aggressive material removal, while the extra hard bond ensures the tooling holds up under highly abrasive conditions. This unique combination makes it the ideal choice for exposed aggregate grinding and heavy-duty surface preparation.

Key Benefits:

Designed for Australian Conditions – Extra hard bond resists rapid wear on abrasive exposed aggregate.

Triple Segment Star Design – Maximises leading edges for aggressive removal and faster cutting.

Superior Productivity – Premium, high-concentration diamonds extend lifespan even on harsh surfaces.

Safety Certified – Manufactured to meet EN13236 standards.

The go-to tooling for contractors working on exposed aggregate concrete.

The lower the grit the more material the tool will remove.

16 Grit – Very aggressive grit, will remove material rapidly but leave significant scratching on the surface.

30 Grit – Aggressive grit, will remove material rapidly but leave some scratching on the surface.

60 Grit – Moderate grit, will remove material at a moderate pace but leave minor scratching on the surface.

120 Grit – Fine grit, minor material removal and the least scratching from metal bond diamonds.

When selecting diamond grinding tooling, ensure the bond is appropriate for the hardness of the surface.

Soft bonds should be used on harder material as the soft bond ensures faster diamond exposure.

Hard Bonds should be used on softer material as the slower wear rate ensures diamond longevity.

Using too hard of a bond can cause glazing of the diamonds and significantly impact performance.

Using too soft of a bond will cause the segment to wear prematurely.
