PCD’s are the most effective tools when it comes to coatings removal. Digs in and tears off as opposed to grinding the surface down.
Polycrystalline Diamond Segments (PCD’s) give quick removal of epoxy, urethane, paints and glues, acrylics, mastic and waterproofing. Often used to strip thick, tough or sticky compounds. Also used in removing rust, oxide and scale from flat metal surfaces.
Care should be taken when using PCD’s as they can damage the underlying concrete and are very aggressive.
